Why skincare matters?

Why skincare matters?

Recently, we have witnessed a boom in the world of skincare and all this momentum of countless products.

You see posts and videos with titles like best skin moisturizer, skincare routine, and eye cream.

So why is so much attention paid to skincare in the first place?

The importance of skin care is due to its volume to you, my dear, and it is vital for several reasons:

First, it helps your skin stay healthy in the face of the day's challenges: keeping it clean and in top condition is essential. An effective skin routine will be your line of defense against acne, aging signs wrinkles, and help maintain your skin's beauty.

Second, your skin will be younger: the older you get, the less your skin cells regenerate, making it paler and less vital. An excellent skincare routine will help remove dead skin cells and thus help the body change them faster to more youthful cells.

Third, protection is better than cure: Protecting from skin problems now is better and more accessible than treating them in the future.

Fourth, "cherish your genuine beauty"
The most crucial goal is to trust your beauty because you are beautiful as you are: the more you take care of your skin and preserve it, the more you will maintain your natural beauty and raise your spirits and self-confidence.

Always remember the skin of babies, as we are all born with soft and flawless skin, no need to change their color or shape. Keep it moist, smooth, and soft like silk.

Now we came to the questions that keep rolling through our minds frequently

How do we choose the perfect skincare routine?

Your question is missing a word here, dear. The question must be, "How do I choose the perfect skin routine for me?"

See!

This little addition is particularly important. No product works for every skin because it is unlike a dress that says, "one size fits all."

Skin is different from woman to woman, even from part to part at the same body so your friend's skincare routine may not work for you.

Know your skin type first; it is normal, dry, oily, or mixed skin, then choose the appropriate skincare routine.

But know, whatever your skin type, sticking to a skincare routine will help maintain overall skin health and improve specific skin conditions such as acne, dark circles, and wrinkles.

The basic skincare routine must contain four basic steps that you do twice daily, in the morning & evening before bed.

First, use a suitable skin lotion or cleanser:

Use a cleanser that does not leave your skin feeling tight after cleansing. Clean your face once or twice a day. If you suffer from dry skin, avoid washing your face to the extent that you lose the natural oils that cover the skin. Also, use a skin lotion or cleanser that works well on all skin types.

Second, the serum:

Use a vitamin C serum; it will be better in the morning. In the evening, use retinol to work better.

Third: Moisturizer: Moisturizing is not a luxury, but a necessity for every woman, regardless of skin type. And on the contrary, with dry skin, you will benefit more from oily moisturizers that write cream on them, usually written on them as cream or gel.

The purpose of using a moisturizer is not only to moisturize the skin but also it plays a tremendous role in facilitating the effect of antioxidants (eliminates free radicals), antibacterial (protect from infections), anti-irritants (for example after laser hair removal) and so many nutrients for the skin.

Normal skin can produce natural moisturizers like hyaluronic acid and collagen

So why do we need external moisturizers?

that's because as our age grows content of hyaluronic acid and collagen decreases, and the skin begins to lose its elasticity and smoothness especially after the '30s

Fourth, sun protection: nowadays sunscreens are no longer a secondary thing to use, going to work daily, exposed to direct sunlight obligates us to such routines as putting on clothes before leaving the house. It is so important.

Applying sunscreen at least fifteen minutes before going out because it takes time to work. You should know that women with darker skin should be more careful than the rest because it is more susceptible to pigmentation in sunlight and becomes more challenging to return to normal.

Choose products from trusted reliable sources, suitable for your skin type and sensitivity, and read the instructions for using them well before purchasing them to ensure that they are ideal for you skin.
